7 nights (Sat-Sat) at the ski-in/ski-out Ptarmigan Inn (hotel rooms) with welcome reception, daily breakfast buffet, 5-day lift ticket, and nonstop RT air on United Airlines from Dulles to Denver (details below).

Located adjacent to the gondola at the resort base the Ptarmigan – currently undergoing a substantial remodeling – offers the best balance of luxury, access, and excellence.  A quick ski/ride over to the Christie lift or down to the Steamboat Gondola and you’ll be at the top of the mountain in no time – true ski-in, ski-out luxury!  Black Tie Ski Rental and valet ski storage is available on site.  The slopeside Snowbird Restaurant offers value and convenience for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Après Ski Happy Hour.

Amenities include complimentary WiFi and a heated outdoor pool and hot tub.  Our rooms have two Queen beds and mini-fridges; coffee makers and hair dryers are available on request.   

Add $865 for the single supplement if you want a room to yourself.

Our "Standard" rooms have two Queen beds.  Upgrade rooms ("Deluxe", "Base View", and "Premium Base View") with various bedding configurations may be available (upon request and subject to availability; extra cost).

Our promotional group lift ticket rate is better than the regular senior rate. Non-skiers (and Ikon Pass holders) save $394 for the package without lift tickets.  Holders of the Full Ikon Pass enjoy unlimited skiing at Steamboat, while holders of the Ikon Base Pass are entitled to ski 5 days.  Note that our first ski day (Saturday, Feb 16) is a Blackout day for the Ikon Base Pass.  A one-day lift ticket is available @ $109 for Ikon Base Pass holders who wish to ski that day.

Please enter your Ikon Pass number into your profile before registering for the trip.  We must provide your pass number to the resort so that it counts towards our group lift ticket minimum purchase requirements.

*Children 12 and under ski free the same number of days as their parents when they purchase a 5 or more day adult lift ticket.  Offer is valid with one free child ticket per paid parent.  Limit two per family.

Membership Requirement:  Your club membership must be current when signing up for the trip and throughout the duration of the trip.  The trip will be "sanctioned" through the Blue Ridge Ski Council.  Current members of other BRSC member ski clubs may register for the trip beginning August 1.

Payment Schedule: 

We’ll confirm your registration after you've signed up (registered) for the trip and we've received your deposit:  Mail (or give) a check to the trip leader, payable to the Pentagon Ski Club, or pay online by going to our Partial Payments Pagewhere you can make initial &/or interim payments for one or more trips, and for one or more members, in a single transaction.  You may also make partial payments with credit cards at club meetings.  Note:  If you wish instead to pay for the entire trip (or to pay your remaining balance), you should make your payment directly against your trip invoice.  You can find your invoice(s) from your profile page by selecting your name in the upper right corner of the website when you are logged in.
