The club will be making its first foray to ski in Spain at the end of the 2022 season (if you've skied Andorra, that's not Spain). We will be skiing the Sierra Nevada ski resort, at the southern end of the large mountain range that runs north to south down central Spain. These mountains end right before our residence in the historic city of Granada. Included are:
7 night's accommodations in Granada at the

Welcome orientation at the hotel.
A full-day walking tour of the Alhambra in the AM and the city in the PM
Round-trip airfare, airport transfers, 4 days of bus transfers between Granada and the Sierra Nevada Ski Area.

Lift Tickets: Lift tickets are not included in the package, but are available at the resort and are reasonably priced. Standard Prices (2021) were 51 Euros. At age 60-69, there is a ten Euros discount. Those 70 plus ski for free (with 5 Euro insurance fee).

Returns to the U.S. Wednesday, March 30
Four nights (Sat-Tue) in the 4-star Petit Palace Plaza Hotel Malaga with daily breakfast buffet.
It is literally in the centre of Málaga, birthplace of Picasso, in the heart of the old town, surrounded by the pedestrian streets and next to the cathedral. It has 66 rooms and is within walking distance of the city's biggest tourists spots, as well as shops, restaurants and a wealth of leisure activities and the Museo Picasso. Don't forget to visit Playa de La Malagueta, located just 15 minutes away. Add $465 for the Single Supplement if you want a room to yourself in Malaga.
Ninety minutes from Malaga: We will have a Sunday tour program and scenic drive to Ronda followed followed by a Monday tour program of the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar.

Membership Requirement: Your club membership must be current when signing up for the trip and throughout the duration of the trip. The trip has been "sanctioned" through the Blue Ridge Ski Council. Current members of other BRSC member ski clubs may register for the trip beginning July 1.
Trip Insurance: Emergency medical, evacuation & repatriation insurance (not cancellation insurance) is included. Note that this is not cancellation coverage and will not provide any relief if you have to cancel from the trip before it begins, whether for medical or other reasons. You may upgrade your coverage to include cancellation coverage by clicking on the link. It will take you to a flyer describing the options available, including a link to the detailed coverage plan. Note that the "Cancel for Any Reason" (CFAR) option must be purchased within 14 days of paying your initial deposit on the trip.

We’ll confirm your registration after you've signed up (registered) for the trip and we've received your payment: Pay online by going to our Partial Payments Page where you can make initial deposits &/or interim payments for one or more trips, and for one or more members, in a single transaction. You may also make partial payments with credit cards at club meetings. Note: If you wish instead to pay for the entire trip (or to pay your remaining balance), you should make your payment directly against your trip invoice. You can find your invoice(s) from your profile page by selecting your name in the upper right corner of the website when you are logged in.
