7 nights (Sat-Sat) in two-room suites at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel (formerly the Embassy Suites) with daily buffet breakfast, RT air from Washington Dulles to Reno (details below), and ground transfers.  Besides skiing Heavenly, we'll have a day at Northstar and a day at Kirkwood.

Right at the base of Heavenly Mountain Resort, our suites have two Queen beds.  (Rooms with one King bed may be available upon request.)  The extensive room amenities include free WiFi and kitchenettes with a small refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker. 

Add $695 for the single supplement if you want a suite to yourself.

Property amenities include a fitness center, whirlpool, and heated indoor pool.  The nightly Atrium Happy Hour offers discounted alcoholic beverages and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.

Lift Tickets:  Lift tickets are not included in the trip package, as Vail Resorts is no longer offering competitively priced group lift tickets.  Epic Passes, which must be individually purchased (not through the club), provide the best value.

Epic Passes:  Participants are encouraged to purchase an Epic Pass product of some type early-on.  The following options would cover your skiing for the trip:

Prices shown are as of early May 2021 and are for non-holiday dates.  The cost typically increases at the start of the summer, and then again around Labor Day, and pass sales (except the Day Passes) are likely to end in November.  You may purchase Epic Passes directly from Vail Resorts, but they are also available through our tour operator:  Sportours will afford a rebate on your trip if you buy your Epic Pass through them.  Sportours offers all except the military passes, which must be purchased directly from Vail Resorts.

No Reservation System:  Last winter Vail Resorts required skiers to reserve their ski days online.  They provided this update on 3/19/21:

We designed the [reservation] system to help safely manage on-mountain capacity during this pandemic. While we do not know exactly how COVID-19 will impact our industry next winter, we are not planning to have a reservation system next season. For anyone worried that the absence of a reservation system will lead to longer lift lines, we have extensive learnings from this season around lift loading efficiencies and are implementing new strategies to materially reduce wait times.

Membership Requirement:  Your club membership must be current when signing up for the trip and throughout the duration of the trip.  The trip will be "sanctioned" through the Blue Ridge Ski Council.  Current members of other BRSC member ski clubs may register for the trip beginning July 1.

Payment Schedule: 

We’ll confirm your registration after you've signed up (registered) for the trip and we've received your payment:  Pay online by going to our Partial Payments Page where you can make initial deposits &/or interim payments for one or more trips, and for one or more members, in a single transaction.  You may also make partial payments with credit cards at club meetings.  Note:  If you wish instead to pay for the entire trip (or to pay your remaining balance), you should make your payment directly against your trip invoice.  You can find your invoice(s) from your profile page by selecting your name in the upper right corner of the website when you are logged in.
