Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has 133 named trails including 50% expert, 40% intermediate and 10% beginner. The mountain features 12 lifts including Bridger Gondola and “Big Red”, their World-famous Aerial Tram.  With 2500 acres of in-bound terrain and a whopping 4,139-foot vertical drop, there’s plenty of room to explore!

Elk Country Inn

The trip package includes 6 nights (Tue-Mon) in the Elk Country Inn (hotel rooms) with daily continental breakfast, RT air from Washington to Jackson (details below), and ground transfers.

Amenities at the newly remodeled Elk Country Inn include a fitness room and an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub.  Our rooms, with two Queen beds, are beautifully furnished in Knotty Pine and Old Hickory.  Add $490 for the single supplement if you want a room to yourself.   The Inn is just a short drive from Grand Teton National Park and the Jackson Hole Ski Resort, and less than an hour from Yellowstone National Park.

NOTE:  The club's trips to Jackson Hole typically include a day trip to Grand Targhee.  For a number of reasons, primarily related to the lift-ticket situation, we have decided not to include Grand Targhee in this-winter's trip package.  

Daily mountain transfers are provided by the hotel (two up in the morning and one back in the afternoon).

Resort Lift Tickets:  Group lift tickets are not being offered by the resort during this holiday period, but you may purchase an individual lift ticket through the club.  We will purchase your ticket soon after you are confirmed on the trip, and it will be non-refundable.  A better option may be a "full" Ikon pass, which provides 7 days of skiing at the resort with no blackout dates (more below).   Resort lift ticket rates are as follows:

You may also purchase your lift ticket directly from the resort.  They recommend purchasing lift tickets at least 14 days in advance of your visit for the best rates and to ensure availability of your desired ski dates.

Ikon Passes:  Ikon Passes, which must be individually purchased (not through the club), provide the best value if you plan more than one trip to an "Ikon resort."  (Note that SKI RESERVATIONS are being required by the resort for Ikon Pass holders; see more information below.)  Participants are encouraged to purchase their Ikon Pass early-on as the cost typically increases with time.  The cost of a full Ikon Pass was as follows, as of early June 2022:

You may purchase Ikon Passes directly from Ikon, but we suggest that you visit our Epic & Ikon Pass page to explore the various options available, including promotional offers from our tour operators.  They offer all except the military passes, which must be purchased directly from Ikon.  Our tour operator for this trip, Winter Ski and Sport, will afford you a rebate on your trip if you buy your Ikon Pass through them.

Ski/Lift Reservations Required:  Jackson Hole will require lift reservations for all Ikon Pass holders for the 2022-23 season "...to help manage capacity and offer the best guest experience."  Reservations will be made available starting August 1, 2022. To make a reservation, login to My Account on ikonpass.com.  Be sure to book your reservations early on as there is a risk of the available spaces being sold out.  Ski Reservations for those with lift tickets purchased through the club's broker are being handled by the broker.

Air Schedule:  Flights on United Airlines (Subject to Change):

Membership Requirement:  Your club membership must be current when signing up for the trip and throughout the duration of the trip.  The trip has been "sanctioned" through the Blue Ridge Ski Council.  Current members of other BRSC member ski clubs may register for the trip beginning August 1.

Payment Schedule:  

We’ll confirm your registration after you've signed up (registered) for the trip and we've received your payment:  Pay online by going to our Partial Payments Page where you can make initial deposits &/or interim payments for one or more trips, and for one or more members, in a single transaction.  You may also make partial payments with credit cards at club meetings.  Note:  If you wish instead to pay for the entire trip (or to pay your remaining balance), you should make your payment directly against your trip invoice.  You can find your invoice(s) from your profile page by selecting your name in the upper right corner of the website when you are logged in.
