7 nights lodging (Sat-Sat) with welcome reception, 5-day lift ticket for Banff/Sunshine and Lake Louise, and RT air from Washington to Calgary (details below).

Banff Springs Hotel

Our first three nights will be at the Banff Springs Hotel in Gatehouse Rooms with bedding options of one King/Queen bed or two twin beds. 

Chateau Lake Louise

Our last four nights will be at Chateau Lake Louise in Fairmont Rooms overlooking the chateau grounds. 

The listed price includes double occupancy in both hotels.  Add $985 for the single supplement if you want a room to yourself (in both hotels).

Logistics/Schedule:

Here's the schedule that makes the most sense, considering the proximity of the resorts to our hotels:

• Sunday - Sunshine
• Monday - Sunshine (or optional day at Kicking Horse)
• Tuesday - Sunshine (and transfer to Chateau Lake Louise)
  
• Wednesday - Lake Louise, or a day off
  
• Thursday - Lake Louise
• Friday - Lake Louise
  

You could also consider skiing Sunday or Monday at the smaller Norquay resort which is in Banff and covered by our lift ticket.

Lift Tickets; Optional Day at Kicking Horse: 

The listed price includes a 5-day (adult) lift ticket for Lake Louise and Sunshine.  We're offering a $100 option for a day at Kicking Horse Resort, including the bus and lift ticket (no discount for seniors).

Non-skiers save $395 from the listed trip price for the package without a lift ticket. 

Ikon Passes:  Skiers with Full (or Base) Ikon Passes can ski 7 (or 5) days at Lake Louise and Sunshine.  Base Pass holders wanting to ski all 6 days can either buy the 1-day ticket, or opt for the day at Kicking Horse.

Trip Insurance:   Emergency medical, evacuation & repatriation insurance (not cancellation insurance) is included.  Note that this is not cancellation coverage and will not provide any relief if you have to cancel from the trip before it begins, whether for medical or other reasons.  You may upgrade your coverage to include cancellation insurance by clicking on the link. It will take you to a flyer describing the options available.

To upgrade to “Cancel for Any Reason” insurance, you must contact Myra Altschuler at  myra@travelprotectors.com within 14 days from the date you write your first deposit check or make your first deposit by credit card.

Air Schedule:  Flights on Air Canada (Subject to Change)

Save $550 on the package without air

Air Canada is in the Star Alliance.  Provide your United Airlines Mileage Plus frequent flier number to have your miles credited to your account.

Membership Requirement:  Your club membership must be current when signing up for the trip and throughout the duration of the trip.  The trip has been "sanctioned" through the Blue Ridge Ski Council.  Current members of other BRSC member ski clubs may register for the trip beginning August 1.

Payment Schedule:

We’ll confirm your registration after you've signed up (registered) for the trip and we've received your payment:  Pay online by going to our Partial Payments Page where you can make initial deposits &/or interim payments for one or more trips, and for one or more members, in a single transaction.  You may also make partial payments with credit cards at club meetings.  Note:  If you wish instead to pay for the entire trip (or to pay your remaining balance), you should make your payment directly against your trip invoice.  You can find your invoice(s) from your profile page by selecting your name in the upper right corner of the website when you are logged in.

If you prefer to pay by check, make it payable to the Pentagon Ski Club and mail it to our treasurer:  Christina Anderson, 5502 Maplefield Place, Alexandria, VA  22310.   Indicate which trip, and what skier(s), it is for.  Or give it to the trip leader (or to Christina) at a club meeting.
