Trip includes:  Daily Breakfast, Welcome Party, Après Social and Farewell Dinner.  We will have our own dedicated shuttle to the mountain plus a Free Lake Placid Shuttle during the day.

Whiteface Mountain, host of the 1932 & 1980 Winter Olympics, offers the greatest vertical drop in the East, 3,430 feet.  Whiteface features 91 trails accessed by 11 lifts including 1 gondola.  44% expert, 36% intermediate and 20% beginner, 98% of the area is covered with snowmaking.  Ride the Cloud-splitter Gondola, New High-Speed Quad, Gladded Areas & Terrain Park.

The completely redesigned High Peaks Resort is located on Main Street in Lake Placid, in the center of the village.  It overlooks the sparking shores of Mirror Lake and is in the very heart of the shopping, dining, and entertainment district.  All rooms have private balcony or patio, with lake or mountain views.  Amenities include two indoor pools, two whirlpools, exercise room, nightly Happy Hour, and live entertainment in the Dancing Bear Lounge.  Village activities and nightclubs are located within walking distance.  Optional/pending activities: Curling, Bobsledding.  Lake Placid also features Luge, Ice Skating, Olympic venues and more.

Complementary morning and afternoon beverages in the High Peaks resort lobby.  Free Wi-Fi.  Complementary snowshoes.  24-hour Fitness Center.  Salon and Spa.  Our rooms are equipped with two Queen beds or one King bed.  Add $455 if you would like a room to yourself.  Family, Triple and Quad options available; contact trip leader for pricing.

Lift Ticket Options:

Lift tickets are selected during the registration process.  The listed trip price includes four days of lift tickets (Monday through Thursday) for an adult skier.  Non-skiers save $150 on the package without a lift ticket.  The 5-day option – to ski on Friday – is only available to those selecting the U-Drive option, as our bus will be heading back home early Friday.

Transportation:  Round-trip Motor Coach transportation (DVR & Lavatory Equipped, Wi-Fi and electric will be requested).  There will be a northern bus and a southern bus.  Pick-up points will be determined by the location of the participants.  An example would be a well-lighted mall parking lot.

U-drive Option:  Would you rather drive yourself?  Save $200.  As noted above, this would give you the opportunity to ski on Friday.

Membership Requirement:  Your club membership must be current when signing up for the trip and throughout the duration of the trip.  The trip has been "sanctioned" through the Blue Ridge Ski Council.  Current members of other BRSC member ski clubs may register for the trip.

Payment Schedule: 

We’ll confirm your registration after you've signed up (registered) for the trip and we've received your payment:  Pay online by going to our Partial Payments Page where you can make initial deposits &/or interim payments for one or more trips, and for one or more members, in a single transaction.  You may also make partial payments with credit cards at club meetings.  Note:  If you wish instead to pay for the entire trip (or to pay your remaining balance), you should make your payment directly against your trip invoice.  You can find your invoice(s) from your profile page by selecting your name in the upper right corner of the website when you are logged in.
