Breckenridge is a great family resort just 104 miles from Denver. Thanks to its abundance of green trails and plenty of areas for lessons, it has become a popular place for adult beginners and little ones alike. But that doesn’t exclude those more advanced skiers—187 total trails mean there is something here for every level. One of the coolest and most unique elements of the town of Breck is its direct access to the mountain from Main Street. Ski right from the top of North America’s highest chairlift at the close of the day directly to your favorite après watering hole—nearly the entire town is ski-in, ski-out. Speaking of the town, its historic mining town charm is one-of-a-kind. Here, you’ll find plenty of shops and restaurants, sans the stuffy feel of some of the other more expensive ski towns in Colorado.

Our trip package includes seven nights (Sat-Sat) in the Marriott Residence Inn (sleep at about 9,600 ft) with daily buffet breakfast, RT air from Washington to Denver (details below), and ground transfers.

Located in Breckenridge's Historic District, this all-suite hotel features kitchens and sofa sleepers in all suites.  Hotel amenities include a free full breakfast, free high speed WIFI, free local ski area shuttle, a fitness center, an outdoor pool & hot tub open year-round, barbeque grills, and a 24-hour front desk. 

The hotel's Base Camp Lodge cocktail bar offers light dining and a  lounge area for socializing or watching the latest news on its flat-screen TVs.

• Studio Suites with two Queen beds, a sofa bed, and a full kitchen.
  
• One-Bedroom Suites with a King bed, a sofa bed, a separate living room, and a full kitchen
  

Single Rooms:  Listed price is for double occupancy.  Add $1,545 for the Single Supplement if you want a room to yourself.

2BR Suites:  Two-bedroom suites with either a K/K or or K/QQ configuration may be available.  If interested, contact trip leader to confirm availability and cost.

Lift Tickets:  Lift tickets are not included in the trip package, as Vail Resorts is no longer offering competitively priced group lift tickets.  Epic Passes, which must be individually purchased (not through the club), provide the best value.

Epic Passes:  Participants are encouraged to purchase an Epic Pass product of some type early-on.  The following options would cover your skiing for the trip; prices shown are as of March 2024 when 2024-25 pass sales began, but will increase in the ensuing months, and be unavailable after early December:

• A "full" Epic Pass ($982)
  
• Military Epic Pass – Active/Retired ($172); Veteran ($561)
  
• Epic Day Pass (the non-holiday-rate for an "all resort" pass)
  – ($492 for 5 days; $573 for 6 days)
• Epic Local Pass ($731)
• Tahoe Local Pass ($621) - 5 days total at The Rockies
  

You may purchase Epic Passes directly from Vail Resorts, but we suggest that you visit our Epic & Ikon Pass page to explore the various options available, including promotional offers from our tour operators.  They offer all except the military passes, which must be purchased directly from Vail Resorts.

Membership Requirement:  Your club membership must be current when signing up for the trip and throughout the duration of the trip.  The trip will be "sanctioned" through the Blue Ridge Ski Council.  Current members of other BRSC member ski clubs may register for the trip beginning August 1.

Payment Schedule:

We’ll confirm your registration after you've signed up (registered) for the trip and we've received your payment:  Pay online by going to our Partial Payments Page where you can make initial deposits &/or interim payments for one or more trips, and for one or more members, in a single transaction.  You may also make partial payments with credit cards at club meetings.  Note:  If you wish instead to pay for the entire trip (or to pay your remaining balance), you should make your payment directly against your trip invoice.  You can find your invoice(s) from your profile page by selecting your name in the upper right corner of the website when you are logged in.

If you prefer to pay by check, make it payable to the Pentagon Ski Club and mail it to Christina Anderson, 5502 Maplefield Place, Alexandria, VA  22310.   Indicate which trip, and what skier(s), it is for.  Or give it to the trip leader (or to Christina) at a club meeting.
