MID-WINTER BREAK FOR SKIERS, EX-SKIERS AND NON-SKIERS

   BRSC Winterfest, QUÉBEC CITY, CANADA 

An EPIC and IKON Trip with lift tickets available as an extra-cost option.

Our trip includes round-trip deluxe motor coach, five nights' lodging (Sun-Fri), daily breakfast, and daily bus transfers to three resorts:  Stoneham, Mont Sainte Anne, and Le Massif.

The iconic Hotel Le Concorde Québec  – a true emblem of the city of Québec with its unique and imposing structure – towers above the city's famed Grande Alleé.  Close to all major tourist attractions, the landmark hotel pairs postcard views and resort-style amenities with a location that makes exploring the city effortless.  With its 406 rooms and suites overlooking the city, it's the ideal place to stay for our mid-winter escape.

You may dine in at the revolving Ciel Bistro Bar or the casual Cochon Dingue restaurant with a Québec style menu.

Enjoy sweeping views of Old Québec from our well-appointed rooms.  Our rooms are equipped with two Queen beds or one King bed. 

Single Rooms:  Listed price is for double occupancy; add $475 for the single supplement if you want a room to yourself.  Triple and Quad pricing available; contact trip leader for cost.

Trip includes:  Daily Breakfast, Welcome Party, and Farewell Dinner.  Also a PSC Party.  BRSC will have its own dedicated buses taking us to three different ski resorts (click for a more complete description of each resort):

• Stoneham (EPIC):  Stoneham Mountain Resort sits about 20 minutes north of Québec City and offers 43 daytime trails across three linked mountains that range from gentle cruisers to double-black tree runs.  We'll have the option to ski two days at Stoneham.
• Mont Sainte Anne (EPIC):  Mont-Sainte-Anne rises 625 meters above the Saint Lawrence Valley and lays out 71 trails across three mountain faces with roughly 547 acres of skiable terrain.
• Le Massif de Charlevoix (IKON):  About 90 minutes from Quebec City, Le Massif is one of the most unique ski resorts in eastern North America thanks to its dramatic terrain overlooking the St. Lawrence River.  

Ikon Passes – Le Massif:  Both the Full and Base Ikon Passes are honored at Le Massif.

Epic Passes – Mont Sainte Anne and Stoneham:  A "full" Epic Pass is honored at both resorts.  However, neither resort accepts Military Epic Passes or Epic Day Passes.  NOTE:  The Epic Mobile Pass on the My Epic app is not accepted.  Be sure to bring your physical Epic Pass card for access!

Epic and Ikon Passes must be individually purchased (not through the club).  You may purchase passes directly from the suppliers, but we suggest that you visit our Epic & Ikon Pass page to explore the promotional offers that may be available from our tour operators.

Group Lift Tickets:  The following options are available for skiers without IKON or EPIC Passes:

Transportation:  Round-trip Motor Coach transportation (DVR & Lavatory Equipped, Wi-Fi and electric will be requested).  Passport required.  There will be a northern bus and a southern bus.  Sit back, listen to some music and enjoy the view.  Bring a small cooler and snacks.  We'll stop every few hours at highway facilities with extensive food options and clean restrooms.  Pick-up points will be determined by the location of the participants.  An example would be the Park and Ride in Adelphi, MD.

U-drive Option:  Would you rather drive yourself?  Save $250.  However, daily transfers to the ski resorts on the group buses are not guaranteed with U-drive Option.

Membership Requirement:  Your club membership must be current when signing up for the trip and throughout the duration of the trip.  The trip has been "sanctioned" through the Blue Ridge Ski Council.  Current members of other BRSC member ski clubs may register for the trip.

Trip Insurance:   Emergency medical, evacuation & repatriation insurance (not cancellation insurance) is included with your trip.  This is not cancellation coverage and will not provide any relief if you have to cancel from the trip before it begins, whether for medical or other reasons.  You may upgrade the coverage of this Basic Plan to include cancellation insurance by clicking on this link.  It will take you to a flyer describing the Basic Plan and the upgrade options available through Myra Altschuler of Travel Protectors LLC:

• The Option 2 cancellation plan provides all the benefits of the Basic Plan, but also covers you for cancelling for a number of basic reasons such as illness, injury or death to you or to your traveling companion/ roommate.  You must purchase it within 14 days of putting down your very first dollar towards the trip in order to waive the pre-existing medical condition exclusion.
• The Option 3 "Cancel For Any Reason" (CFAR) plan provides all the benefits of the Option 2 plan, but also covers you for cancelling for any non-standard reason, or if you just don’t want to go, but you must purchase it within 14 days of putting down your very first dollar towards the trip.  If you cancel your trip for a non-standard reason, your refund will be limited to 75% of your insured trip cost.
• If you upgrade your coverage with either option through Myra, prior to making your final payment on the trip, we will credit your trip invoice with the $60 cost of the club-provided Basic Plan.
• If you purchase your own travel insurance, which includes emergency medical, evacuation & repatriation coverage, and inform your trip leader prior to making your final payment on the trip, we will credit your trip invoice with the $60 cost of the club-provided Basic Plan.  You must present your policy to the trip leader to receive the credit.

To upgrade to “Cancel for Any Reason” insurance, you must contact Myra Altschuler at  myra@travelprotectors.com within 14 days from the date you write your first deposit check or make your first deposit by credit card.

Payment Schedule: 

We’ll confirm your registration after you've signed up (registered) for the trip and we've received your payment:  Pay online by going to our Partial Payments Page where you can make initial deposits &/or interim payments for one or more trips, and for one or more members, in a single transaction.  You may also make partial payments with credit cards at club meetings.  Note:  If you wish instead to pay for the entire trip (or to pay your remaining balance), you should make your payment directly against your trip invoice.  You can find your invoice(s) from your profile page by selecting your name in the upper right corner of the website when you are logged in.
