Listed price includes round-trip air
An IKON Trip with a Lift ticket available as an additional option
Only a 45-minute drive from downtown Salt Lake City, Snowbird’s jaw-dropping home in Little Cottonwood Canyon makes this unparalleled resort feel worlds away. The Bird—as devotees affectionately refer to it—spans more than 2,500 acres of mountain peaks, snow-packed bowls and wide-open groomed runs.
Snowbird's Gad Valley
Our trip includes 7 nights (Sat-Sat) in the Cliff Lodge (hotel rooms) with daily breakfast buffet (except our departure day), round-trip air from Washington to Salt Lake City (details below), and ground transfers.
The luxurious Cliff Lodge, one of North America’s most iconic ski lodges, offers ski-in/ski-out convenience and excellent service, within walking distance to Snowbird’s pedestrian village. An on-site ski rental and repair shop and complimentary ski lockers add to the convenience of the hotel. Other amenities include an exercise room, resort-wide internet service, room service, and a concierge.
After a day on the mountain, relax at the outdoor pool or The Cliff Spa. Open year-round, a heated swimming pool and 2 hot tubs are located outdoors on Level 3. Located on the 9th and 10th floors, The Cliff Spa features over 30 treatment and salon services, yoga studio, fitness center, rooftop pool and hot tub. Access to The Cliff Spa is available for an additional fee.
The majesty of Little Cottonwood Canyon can be explored from the views each room provides, whether in a Mountain View room facing Snowbird’s ski slopes o a Canyon View room peering down the glacially carved canyons spilling into the Salt Lake City valley below. Our rooms are equipped with two Queen beds. Room amenities include a small refrigerator, television, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, humidifier and coffee maker.
Single Rooms: Listed price is for double occupancy; add $1,260 for the single supplement if you want a room to yourself.
Breakfast: The trip includes a daily (Sunday through Friday) Skier's Full Breakfast Buffet, served in the SeventyOne restaurant in the Cliff Lodge's lower level. Our Saturday departure is too early for breakfast; a grab & go option may be available, but is not included with the trip package.
Ikon Pass Benefits: If you're planning to ski at more than one "Ikon" resort this winter, an Ikon Pass may be a better value than the available group lift tickets (see below); it may depend when you buy your pass as prices will increase as winter gets closer .
- A Full Ikon Pass provides 7 days (total/combined) at Alta & Snowbird.
- An Ikon Base Pass gives you 5 days at Snowbird (only).
- An Ikon Base Plus Pass gives you 5 days (total/combined) at Alta & Snowbird.
Ikon Passes must be individually purchased (not through the club). You may purchase Ikon Passes directly from Ikon, but we suggest that you visit our Epic & Ikon Pass page to explore the promotional offers that may be available from our tour operators.
If you'll be using an Ikon Pass, we must provide your pass number to the resort so that it counts towards our group lift ticket minimum purchase requirements. Please enter your Ikon Pass number into your membership profile before registering for the trip, or provide it to the trip leader if you purchase (or renew) your pass subsequent to signing up.
Group Lift Tickets: Group lift tickets are available as an extra-cost option for skiers without an Ikon Pass. You can upgrade to also ski at Alta for an estimated $50/day at the resort. There is no senior discount as the lift tickets are offered as part of an all-inclusive group package, but 80+ seniors ski FREE at Alta (only).
